Brown Rice PilafCuisine: Parve Category: Side dish Servings: 8 Ingredients:1med chopped onion1 chopped celery stalk 2 cups uncooked brown rice 4 1/2 cups water 2 chicken bullion cubes parve 1/4 cup raisins 1/4 cup chopped dry apricots 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional) 2 tbs chopped fresh sage or 1 tsp dried sage 1/8 tsp salt 1/8 tsp ground pepper Instructions:Heat a large sprayed skillet. Saute onion, celery til tender, about 5 min. Add brown rice and saute for another 5 min. Add water, bullion, raisins, apricots and bring to boil.
