Cabbage & Bowties

Ingredients:

1 small cabbage, shredded
1 large spanish onion, chopped
3 tbs olive oil
1 tbs kosher salt
1/4 tsp pepper
8 oz cooked bowties



Instructions:

In large pot, heat oil & add chopped onions, shredded cabbage and salt. Saute cabbage and onions until they brown. It will take at least 1/2 hour. ItI will look like browned onions. Boil salted water, add the pasta and cook for about 10-15 min. Drain well and add to the cabbage & onions in saute pan. Add salt & pepper to taste and heat for another 10 min. Can be frozen.
