Ingredients:

7 large egg whites
1 cup sugar
2 cups chopped filberts
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbs vanilla
4 oz choc chips (1/2 cup)


Instructions:

Preheat oven to 325. Toast filberts to remove skin. Chop roughly. Beat egg whites & add sugar gradually. Fold in chopped filberts, salt, vanilla. Turn into pan & cook for 15 min stirring until brown. Remove from heat and add choc chips. Drop by teaspoonful onto lined cookie sheet & bake for 25 to 30 min.
