Ingredients:

3/4 cups sugar
3/4 cup margarine
3 egg
2 tbs brandy, liquierer
3 tsp baking powder
4.5 cups flour
3/4 cup orange juice
Filling:
prune butter or apricot jam
Optional (to make logs)
2 cups walnuts
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbs apricot jam
grate rind & juice of lemon
1 cup choc chips melted with
2 tbs orange juice
1 tbs Kahlua


Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350. Process rind. Add sugar, margarine, brandy & process. Add egg & process. Add all other ingredients to make a dough. Add more flour if needed. Roll out dough 1/4" Use floured glass or round cookie cutter. Spoon small amount of filling and shape 3 sides. Bake for 25 minor till lightly browned. Cool on rack. Makes 30 cookies. Can be frozen. YOU CAN ALSO USE THE PARVE COOKIE DOUGH RECIPE. To make rolls: Divide dough into 6 balls. Roll each ball into a rectangle and spread melted choc chip & fill with optional filling which is processed in processor. Can be frozen & then baked. Brush orange juice on roll and sprinkle with sugar before baking at 350 for 30 to 40 min till nicely browned.
