Braised Red Cabbage

Ingredients:

1 red cabbage
2 sliced apples
1 sliced onion
2 tbs margarine
1 tsp dill
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 sugar
salt & pepper to taste
1 cup chicken stock
2 bay leaves


Instructions:

Cut cabbage into small wedges. Saute onion in margarine until translucent. Add peeled sliced apples, bay leaves & dill & saute 5 more min. Add cabbage wedges, soup stock, cider vinegar, sugar, salt & pepper. Cook till it cooks down. Taste & adjust seasoning. Serve as a side dish or vegetable.
