Rye & Onion Bread

Ingredients:

3 3/8 cups bread flour
3/8 cup (1.25 oz) rye flour
3 tbs sugar
1.5 tbs dry milk solids (Parve)
1.75 tsp salt
1.5 tbs margarine
3/8 cup chopped onion
2 tsp caraway seeds
7.5 oz water
1.75 tsp dry yeast





Instructions:

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water (115 degrees)& 1 tbs sugar. Let stand until it foams (about 10 min) Process all dry ingredients to blend. Add melted margarine & yeast. Process for 1 min. or until dough ball forms. Knead for a few minutes on floured board. Cover with wet paper towel & let rise for about 1 hour or till double in bulk. Punch down & let rest covered for 10 min. Cut dough in half & place into 2 greased loaf pans. Cover & let rise till double. Preheat oven to 350 & bake for about 30 min. Turn out of pan & let cool completely
