Pesach Apple Pie 1

Ingredients:

Crust:
2 cups ground walnuts
1/4 cup sugar
Filling:
2 cups sliced apples
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbs margarine
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp grated lemon rind
1 tbs cake meal
Streusel Topping:
1 cup matzoh meal
1/4 cup chopped nuts
1/3 cup margarine
1 tsp cinnamon




Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375. Process nuts with sugar. Pat into 9" pie pan. Bake for 10 min. Cool. Mix apples with sugar, cinnamon & lemon rind. Fold into pie crust. Dot with margarine & sprinkle 1 tbs cake meal. Mix all streusel ingredients together & cover the apples in pie crust. Bake at 375 for 1 hr. Serves 8.
