Ramen Noodle Soup

Ingredients:

6 cups water
2 tbs soy suce
2 tbs ketchup or chili sauce
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground red pepper (optional)
1 pkg ramen noodles
2 1/2 cups thinly sliced chinese cabbage or green cabbage
3 carrots, shredded
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup frozen corn kernels
4 scallions cut into slivers
2 tsp sesame oil (optional)
2 beef bullion +2 cups water (optional)


Instructions:

Mix water,soy sauce, ketchup,ginger & pepper and seasoning packet from the ramen noodles. Bring to boil. Add sliced cabbage & carrots & cook for 5 min. Break up the ramen noodles and add to pot. Add mushrooms,corn. Simmer for about 3 min. Add slivered scallions and heat through. Taste & adust seasoning. You can add 2 cups of hot water with a dissolved beef bullion. Stir in sesame oil.
