BBQ Ribs EstherCuisine: Pesach Category: Beef Servings: 10 Ingredients:8 lbs flanken1 cup chopped onions 1 tsp minced garlic 1/4 cup oil 2 tsp prepared mustard 2 cups tomato puree 1 cups brown sugar +1/2 cup if needed 2 tbs soy sauce 1 cup vinegar 2 bay leaves 1 tsp BBQ spice 1 tsp hot pepper sauce (optional) 2 tsp salt Instructions:Saute onions, garlic in oil til golden. Add all other ingredients and simmer for 15 min. Taste and adjust seasoning. Add up to 1/2 cup brown sugar if needed. It should have a sweet & sour taste. This can be made in advance & refrigerated. It will stay a long time because it has vinegar. Heat oven @325. Brown ribs in hot oil. Arrange ribs in baking pan. Brush sauce generously over ribs.
