Veal Stew Margo

Ingredients:

1 lb cubed veal
onions
garlic
olive oil
tomato sauce
1/2 cup chicken broth or water
1/4 cup red wine(optional)
1/8 tsp thyme Optional
salt & pepper
parve creamer or tofu sourcream


Instructions:

Heat oil in saucepan. Brown veal add onions & garlic & brown. Add tomato sauce, wine and seasoning, cover & simmer over low flame for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. til veal is soft. Add a little parve creamer. This can also be done in the crockpot. It takes about 5 hrs. check do not overcook as the veal will get too soft.
