Pot Roast Sweet & Sour

Ingredients:

4 lbs brisket, top of rib
16 oz stewed tomatoes
8 oz saurkraut
1 cup applesauce(optional)
2 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs cold water
2 tbs cornstarch
parsley sprigs


Instructions:

Place pot roast in roasting pan Rub in paprika, garlic, pepper. Add all other ingredients except water, cornstarch, parsley sprigs Cover & bake at 350 for about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs until fork tender. Remove meat to serving platter. Skim off fat from pan juices. Combine cold water & cornstach and stir into gravy. Cook gravy til thickened and spoon over sliced meat. Can be frozen Splenda can be substituted for half of brown sugar
