Bean Burgers & HorseradishCuisine: American Category: vegetable Servings: 4 Ingredients:1 (16-ounce) can pinto beans,rinsed and well drained 1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs 2 tablespoons chopped green onions 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 egg white or 2 tablespoons cholesterol-free egg product 4 whole wheat hamburger buns, split Horseradish Sauce 4 slices tomato 4 lettuce leaves HORSERADISH SAUCE 1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish Instructions:Spray 10-inch nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Mash beans in medium bowl. Mix in cheese, bread crumbs, onions, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, salt and egg white. Shape into 4 patties.
