Glazed Pears

Ingredients:

9 small pears or
3 (16 oz) cans pear halves
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter or margarine.
1 tsp cinnamon


Instructions:

Peel, core & halve the pears or drain the canned pears. In 12" skillet, combine sugar, butter & cinnamon and stir over med heat for 3 min. Carefully add pear halves, stirring to coat. Cook & stir for 8-10 min for fresh pears and 3 minutes for canned. Cool. Not tried try with less butter and less sugar.
