Chalah-Whole Wheat (HLB)

Ingredients:

3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 3/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs (room temperature)
1/2 cup oil
10.5 oz water (115 degrees)
1 tb dry yeast



Instructions:

Place in order given in bread machine. Run machine on dough cycle. Do not bake in machine, dough is too big. Remove dough and knead lightly on floured board. Cover and let rest 10 min. Shape dough any way you want. Place on parchment. Cover with wet paper towel and Place in unlit oven for 30 min.or until chalahs doubles in size. A bowl of hot water can be placed lower shelf to speed the rising. Remove from oven and turn it on to 350. Uncover chalahs. If towel sticks, wet hands and pat on top of dry towel to wet it again before removal. Brush on a beaten egg. Bake in oven 35 min or until golden. Remove from oven and cool
