Spinach Cheese Swirls

Ingredients:

1 puff pastry sheet
1 egg
1 tb water
1/2 cup shredded muenster cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 scallion chopped
1/8 tsp garlic powder
10 oz frozen chopped spinach defrosted


Instructions:

Thaw pastry sheet to room temp. Set oven at 400. Line baking sheet with parchment or grease lightly. Using 2 sheets cling wrap (one on top, one on bottom) Run the roller over the sheet to make a slightly larger rectangle. In medium bowl stir in the cheeses, chopped onion & garlic powder. Blend egg & water in small bowl. Squeeze out all the all the water from the thawed spinach. Remove top cling wrap and sprinkle a little flour over the pastry sheet. Brush on egg. Top with cheese mixture, finish with the spinach. Roll up slowly on the longer side. Use the bottom cling wrap to help u. Chill for one hour before cuttin intoo 1/2" slices and brushing with the rest of the egg wash. Bake for 15 min or til golden brown. Can also be frozen after making the roll and before baking. Defrost before cutting and baking.
