Chicken Polynesian

Ingredients:

2 (3-3 1/2 lb) chickens cut into 1/8's
Sauce:
20 oz drained pineapple chunks
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tbs steak sauce
1 red pepper
1 green pepper


Instructions:

Sprinkle chicken with garlic, pepper & paprika and single layer in baking pan. Drain pineapple chunks set aside. Mix juice from pineapple with ketchup, brown sugar, steak sauce. Marinade chicken in this sauce for an hour. Heat oven to 375. Brush on chicken Bake 3/4 hour. Slice or dice peppers. Raise oven to 425. Brush more sauce on and add drained pineapple & peppers &return to oven for 1/2 hr or til chicken is done. If reheating you can stop here. If serving check chicken temp. It should be 175 to be done. Can be frozen.
