All Chocolate TrifleCuisine: Pesach Category: dessert Servings: 16 Ingredients:1 pkg Devil's Food Choc Cake Mix4 large eggs 1 pkg parve instant choc pudding 1 1/4 cranberry juice or water 1/2 cup oil 3 pints parve whipping cream 3 tbs instant vanilla pudding powder 1 can cherry pie filling 4 tbs liqueur 1 cup parve choc chips 6 large eggs, separated 1 tbs liqueur shaved choc 1 pkg parve almond crunch (optional) Instructions:Prepare choc cake with the pudding, juice, oil. Bake in rectangular greased pan @ 350 for 35 min or till done. Cool. Prepare Mousse: Melt choc chips in Micro with 2 tbs of orange juice and 1 tbs liqueur. Beat egg yolks and add melted choc chips. Beat egg whites till stiff and gently fold into yolk-choc mixture. Whip whipping cream with 2 tbs liqueur and add as much instant vanilla pudding to thicken it. To Assemble: Cut cooled choc cake into small slices and place in bottom of trifle bowl. Sprinkle a little liqueur on cake. Add some of cherry filling and some choc mousse. Add more cake slices and some whipped cream. Repeat and finish with a layer of cake and top with remaining whipped cream. Shave choc chips on top for decoration.
